Made in Korea
Every Single Stick
To us, "Made in Korea" is more than where it's from. It's the care, consistency and standards we want behind everything we make for dogs and cats.

Leo: Korea is a long way from the fridge.
Kiki: Worth the trip.

FILMED AT THE FACTORY IN KOREA
Weighed out
The recipe is vet-formulated. At the factory, its added nutrients are weighed out in the lab.
Washed and chopped
The chicken, fruit and vegetables are washed, then chopped.
Into the stick
The stick wrapper feeds into the machine, and the recipe goes in.
Sealed
Each stick is sealed shut.
Off the line
The sealed sticks come off the line, ready for the sterilization chamber.
The sterile room
The sticks move into the sterile room.
Laid out and counted
Sticks are spread on trays so none overlap, and the number of sticks is counted.
Heat-sterilized
The trays go through a carefully controlled heat sterilization process. That is how each stick keeps its taste and texture without preservatives.
Made Under a Food-Safety System
Badges certify a factory or its food-safety system, not a product. Here's what each one means, in plain English.
HACCPHazard Analysis and Critical Control Points
- Find the RisksEvery step of production is checked for what could go wrong.
- Set Control PointsEach risk gets a point on the line where it's controlled.
- Keep WatchingThose points are monitored, and corrected when something's off.
Look for it on the back of the Joints pouch.
ISO 9001:2015Quality management systems
- Write It DownHow each job is done is written down, so it is done the same way every time.
- Get CheckedOutside auditors check that the system is really followed.
- Keep ImprovingProblems are recorded, fixed and followed up.
The factory's quality system is ISO 9001:2015 certified. It certifies the facility, not a product.
SQFSafe Quality Food
- A Food-Safety PlanA written plan for every risk, built on HACCP.
- An Outside AuditAn independent auditor checks the facility against the SQF code.
- Every Year AgainThe audit repeats to keep the certificate.
The factory is SQF certified. Like ISO, it certifies the facility, not a product.
FDA-Registered FacilityRegistered with the US Food and Drug Administration
- RegisteredFacilities that make food for the US register with FDA.
- Open to InspectionFDA can inspect a registered facility.
- Same US RulesFood sold in the US follows FDA and state rules, wherever it is made.
Registration is not approval: FDA doesn't approve pet foods, so we never say "FDA approved".
